Palin flunks qualifying exam by 3rd grader

Once again, Palin demonstrates a lack of understanding of what it is exactly that the Vice President does. A Vice President sits in the Senate and casts deciding vote in the event of a tie. It is pretty unambiguously spelled out in the Constitution and is one of the ways in which checks and balances are implemented in our government. See where she gets it wrong again. Compare with the above link given for the Constitution, Article 1, Section 3, under “The Senate”. The Vice President is not “in charge” of the Senate. Really, perhaps we ought to think about giving comprehensive qualifying examinations before someone can run for public office. šŸ™‚
